Jubilee, a sweet and playful dog, woke up one day to a sudden change. Her eyes began to weep and her previously excitable nature began to turn depressive. Scared and worried, her 2-legged parents knew that something was very wrong.
From Playful To Panic

Jubilee has always been a joyful and playful dog. Her mood was always upbeat and loving. One morning, her owners woke up to find her eyes weeping. Her entire mood had dimmed, she wasn’t as happy and excited as she used to be. Seemingly sensitive to light, her eyes continue to create more discharge. They didn’t take long to notice that something was seriously wrong and rushed to the vet.
The Light of Jubilee Dims

No one could have predicted what the vet would say, or the heartbreak that came with it. Jubilee was given medicine to make her feel better but it didn’t take long for her problems to return. Her mood continued to drop.
Pain and Heartbreak

Her owners were fearfully concerned about their furbaby, unsure of how to help her, and unable to provide a true diagnosis or understanding of what was happening. Finally, the day came when they were told the news. Jubilee had an autoimmune disorder causing the body to attack itself.
Paws of Perseverance

With the diagnosis came the brutal truth. Jubilee would eventually go blind. Due to the intense pain that she would have to suffer through, the sweet furball had to undergo serious surgery. She had to have her eyes removed. As heartwrenching and painful as it was, the surgery was a great success. Just seven days later, Jubilee began to shine once again.
Blind Brave and Beautiful

Jubilee was slowly going back to her old self. She was once again a happy and playful pup, taking every day in her stride. Her fur soon began to turn white, another symptom of the autoimmune disease. With no sight, her senses were sharpened and she had to readapt to life. This strong girl refused to let anything get her down. With her new love of sniffing flowers, and her trusty parents to help her every step of the way, Jubilee was soon back to living a wonderfully delightful life. This gorgeous girl had such a supportive family and she never failed to shower them with love and gratitude.
Inspiration

This brave girl’s story about overcoming what no one thought she would, just shows us how resilient our pets can be! Especially when they are provided with a loving home filled with support. We wish Jubilee many more years of love and new smells!
