Nana is more than a pet. She is a protector, a playmate, and a helper. Each morning, she assists her owner, Jenna, in preparing the home for the day care kids. She watches as toys are placed and snacks are arranged. Then, she eagerly waits by the door, tail wagging, ready to welcome each child.
The Day Starts with Play
Once the kids arrive, excitement fills the air. Nana bursts into action, running alongside them, chasing their laughter. During the summer, she bounces on the trampoline with them, barking with excitement. In the winter, she races through the snow, sledding at their side. She keeps up with every jump, sprint, and giggle, never slowing down.
Keeping Watch at Nap Time

When play slows, Nana knows it’s time for rest. As the children settle in for naps, she lies beside them, offering warmth and comfort. Her calming presence makes resting easy. Some kids drift off to sleep with their tiny hands in her fur, feeling safe. She stays close, making sure everyone rests peacefully before the next adventure begins.
Fun in the Afternoon
Once the naps end, Nana is back at work. She keeps a watchful eye on the youngest kids, ensuring they are safe. Then, she joins in the fun with the older ones. She plays pretend, sometimes becoming a patient at the doctor’s office or a customer at a make-believe salon. She embraces every role with patience and joy.
The Ever-Gentle Companion

Nana takes her responsibilities to heart. She never pushes too hard or moves too fast. She understands the small hands that hug her, the tiny feet that scurry past. She stays gentle, always mindful of the kids. She is not just a dog—she is a trusted friend. Her kindness and care make her the perfect day care assistant.
A Friend to Every Child
As the day winds down, Nana watches as each child leaves. She stands beside Jenna, her tail wagging in farewell. She has spent hours running, playing, comforting, and protecting. Tomorrow, she will do it all over again with the same love and patience. Nana is not just a pet—she is a golden-hearted companion to every child she meets.
