When rescuers from The Animal Pad first found Felix, the pit bull was hairless, covered in mange, and barely clinging to life. This sad street pittie was written off by emergency staff who suggested euthanasia, saying his recovery would be too long and costly. But the rescue team refused to give up on him, determined to give the sweet pup a second chance.

With care, warmth, and the occasional burger treat, Felix began to heal—inside and out. His fur slowly grew back, his wounds closed, and he gained strength. Week by week, his visits to the rescue became filled with tail wags and playful energy.

Felix blossomed into a goofy, loving dog who brings joy wherever he goes. He even appeared on TV, hoping to find a forever family after 930 days in care. Despite his rough start, Felix’s spirit remains unbroken. This once-forgotten pittie now embodies hope, proving that love can heal even the deepest scars. All he needs now is someone to call home.
