A family in Shelton, Washington—just south of Seattle—recently captured hearts nationwide after an extraordinary encounter played out right on their back deck. Their Golden Retriever struck up an unexpected friendship with none other than a Bald Eagle, America’s national bird.
The now-viral video, shared by ABC World News on TikTok, shows the Golden Retriever quietly observing the majestic raptor perched just a few feet away.
